Fiesta de la Uva y el Vino in Las Piedras

Running since 2022 on the second weekend of November in Plaza Batlle y Ordonez, the Fiesta Capital de la Uva y el Vino is Las Piedras' newer wine celebration, featuring tastings, artistic performances, gastronomic contests and the selection of a departmental vendimia representative, backed by Uruguay's Ministry of Tourism and the Intendencia de Canelones.

In November 2022, Las Piedras launched a new annual event, the Fiesta Capital de la Uva y el Vino, explicitly built around its official status as Uruguay's Capital de la Uva y el Vino, the wine and grape capital designation the city holds under national law.
