Barbuda Caribana in Codrington/Barbuda
Barbuda's Caribana Festival is a four-day celebration held annually in Codrington over the Whitsun weekend, featuring an opening street parade, horse racing as its biggest draw, an early-morning J'ouvert with costumed masqueraders, a beach day of performances, Soca Monarch and Junior Calypso competitions, and a food fair featuring grilled lobster, conch fritters, deer stew and rum punch.
