Antigua Carnival Parade of Bands and Last Lap in St. John's
The Parade of Bands and Last Lap form Antigua Carnival's grand finale on Carnival Tuesday, with every mas troupe, steel and brass band and float parading through St John's in elaborate costumes before transitioning into the Last Lap, an unstructured road celebration running from around eight at night until late, closing out roughly ten days of Carnival competitions and street events under that year's unifying theme.
The Parade of Bands and Last Lap together form the grand finale of Antigua Carnival, staged on Carnival Tuesday as the festival's culminating spectacle after roughly ten days of competitions, pageants and smaller street events.
