International Festival of Crafts in Meghri in Meghri

A May crafts festival in Meghri, southern Armenia, bringing together roughly forty master artisans from Armenia, CIS countries, Georgia and Iran to showcase carpet weaving, embroidery, pottery, jewellery and other traditional crafts, now in at least its fifth edition. Its cross-border artisan participation gives visitors a rare regional handicraft showcase in one setting.

The International Festival of Crafts brings master artisans from across Armenia and neighbouring countries to Meghri, a town in the Syunik region of southern Armenia, for a celebration built specifically around the theme of creative community and sustainable future.
