Cairns Festival in Cairns
Cairns Festival has run every September since 1961, making it one of the longest-standing community arts festivals in tropical north Queensland. Organised by Cairns Regional Council, the roughly ten-day program spans music, theatre, dance and visual art across venues including the Tanks Arts Centre, Munro Martin Parklands and the historic Court House, mixing local performers with national touring acts.
