Cairns Indigenous Art Fair in Cairns

Cairns Indigenous Art Fair, known as CIAF, has run since 2009 at the Tanks Arts Centre in the Cairns Botanic Gardens, giving Queensland's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art centres and artists a direct, ethical route to collectors and buyers. The event combines a curated Art Fair of museum-quality work with a more accessible weekend Art Market, alongside talks, demonstrations and performances.

Cairns Indigenous Art Fair, widely known by its acronym CIAF, began in 2009 and has grown since into one of the country's leading platforms for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander visual art, held annually at the Tanks Arts Centre within the Cairns Botanic Gardens.
