Ord Valley Muster in Kununurra
The Ord Valley Muster is a multi-day festival in Kununurra each May, mixing outdoor concerts, rodeo, art and Aboriginal cultural performance across the East Kimberley. Grown from a single-night event in 2001, its centrepiece is the Kimberley Moon Experience concert, alongside Corroboree Under the Stars and newer additions like the Lake Argyle Cliffside Dinner staged above one of Australia's largest artificial lakes.
The Ord Valley Muster began in 2001 as a single-night event in Kununurra, a town built around the irrigation scheme that transformed the East Kimberley's Ord River Valley into productive farmland, and has since grown into a multi-day festival covering music, art, rodeo, comedy and community celebration across the region each May.
