Perth Royal Show in Perth
An eight-day agricultural show at Claremont Showgrounds featuring livestock judging, woodchopping, equestrian events and a large Sideshow Alley funfair. It is Western Australia's biggest annual show, timed to the spring school holidays and drawing exhibitors from across the state. The Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia has run the event since the 1870s, and its grand parade of champion livestock through the main arena remains a highlight for visiting families.
Claremont Showgrounds fills with cattle yards, carnival rides and produce stalls each spring as Western Australia's largest agricultural event returns to the city's western suburbs.
