Alpinale Short Film Festival in Bludenz/Nenzing
The Alpinale is Austria's oldest dedicated short film festival, founded in 1985 in Bludenz, Vorarlberg, and held annually each August, with a run in neighboring Nenzing from 2003 to 2019 before returning to Bludenz. Around thirty juried international short films compete each edition for the festival's Golden Unicorn award, drawing roughly a thousand visitors to this specialist showcase for short-form cinema.
