Running in Nassau for around twenty-five years with some gaps, the Caribbean Muzik Festival is a ticketed, multi-day concert series - typically four days in October - bringing more than two dozen calypso, reggae, dancehall and soca acts from across the Caribbean, often backed by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism as host sponsor.
The Caribbean Muzik Festival has run in Nassau for roughly a quarter-century, with breaks along the way, positioning itself as a showcase for the wider region's music rather than a strictly Bahamian cultural event.
