Spring of Culture in Manama/Muharraq/Bahrain venues
Bahrain's national arts festival, running annually since 2006 under the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, spreads concerts, theatre, dance and heritage programming across Manama and Muharraq each spring. Highlights include international performances at the Bahrain National Theatre and Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre, folk arts staged inside restored pearling-era heritage houses, and guided walks along Muharraq's UNESCO-listed Pearling Path. Free heritage programming pairs well with a handful of ticketed evening shows for a manageable multi-venue visit.
Launched in 2006 by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, Spring of Culture has grown into one of the Gulf's longest-running national arts festivals, spreading concerts, theatre, dance, visual art and heritage programming across venues in both Manama and Muharraq each spring.
