Barbados's Crop Over-closing costumed road parade, held on the Kadooment Day public holiday in early August, where masquerade bands in themed costumes move from the National Stadium to the beachfront finish at Spring Garden behind music trucks. It is the most attended single event on the Barbados calendar and the daytime, costume-focused counterpart to the same week's pre-dawn Foreday Morning Jam.

Grand Kadooment traces its costumed procession to sugar-estate harvest celebrations from the 1780s, though the modern parade is a 1974 revival by the Barbados Tourist Board rather than an unbroken three-century tradition.
