Budslaŭ Fest in Budslaŭ
Pilgrims on foot converge on Budslau village each July for Budslau Fest, a night of candlelit procession built around one of Catholic Belarus's most venerated icons. Held at the Baroque Church of the Assumption in Myadzyel district, the festival centers on the sixteenth-century icon of Our Lady of Budslau, honored since the seventeenth century and inscribed by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage in 2018, drawing tens of thousands of pilgrims from across Belarus and beyond.
