Namur International Francophone Film Festival in Namur

FIFF Namur is a competitive festival exclusively for French-language cinema, drawing fiction, documentary and short films from Belgium, France, Quebec, Switzerland and francophone Africa. Running since 1986 and FIAPF-recognized since 1989, it awards its own Bayard d'Or trophies each autumn. The appeal is its singular focus: rather than international cinema broadly, every competing film shares one language and its varied national traditions.

Namur's film festival started in 1986 under a different name, Festival cinematographique de Wallonie, and only became the Festival International du Film Francophone three years later.
