FInAB in Cotonou
FInAB, short for Festival International des Arts du Benin, is a contemporary art festival organized by CIAAC that spreads exhibitions, installations and artist talks across venues in Cotonou each February and March. It reflects Benin's growing reputation in contemporary African art, giving local audiences and visiting collectors a home-grown counterpart to the international shows that already carry Beninese sculpture and mixed-media work to biennials abroad.
FInAB stands for the Festival International des Arts du Benin, a contemporary art gathering that turns Cotonou into a temporary circuit of exhibitions and studio visits every northern-hemisphere winter.
