Corso de Corsos Cochabamba in Cochabamba
Corso de Corsos is Cochabamba's main Carnival parade, built around elaborately decorated floats and competing comparsa groups rather than the devotional dance tradition seen at Oruro's Carnaval. Water and foam play run through the whole event, giving Cochabamba's Carnival a lighter, more purely festive character tied to the city's valley climate and comparsa club culture.
Corso de Corsos is the centerpiece parade of Cochabamba's Carnival season, distinct from both Oruro's UNESCO-listed devotional Carnaval and La Paz's later entradas, built instead around Cochabamba's own valley identity and comparsa tradition.
