Corso Infantil Oruro in Oruro

Corso Infantil is Oruro's children's carnival parade, founded in 1947 by the Circulo Cultural y Social Ateniense and held on a separate, later Sunday that closes out the wider Carnaval de Oruro season. Children in miniature diablada, morenada and other costumes parade through downtown Oruro to Plaza 10 de Febrero, where a jury judges the blocks. Families line the entire route, and the reigning Carnival queen often appears on an elevated float.
