Otse Annual Hiking Festival draws hikers to the granite hills around Otse, a village about 40 kilometers south of Gaborone best known for the Manyelanong Vulture Sanctuary, a protected breeding site for Cape vultures on the dramatic cliffs above the settlement. The festival combines guided or self-directed hiking routes through Otse's rocky terrain with community celebration, giving visitors a reason to explore one of the South-East District's most distinctive landscapes.
