Chobe Agricultural Show

Chobe Agricultural Show is the annual farming showcase for Pandamatenga, a commercial dryland farming settlement in Botswana's far north near the Chobe forest reserve and the Zimbabwe border. Alongside the better-known Ghanzi and Gaborone shows, it forms part of Botswana's regional agricultural show circuit, bringing together farmers, equipment dealers and agribusinesses from one of the country's most productive arable farming areas.

Pandamatenga sits in Botswana's far north, close to the Chobe Forest Reserve and the Zimbabwean border, in an area whose deep, fertile soils make it one of the country's most significant zones for large-scale dryland arable farming, particularly sorghum and maize grown on extensive commercial farms rather than the smaller subsistence plots typical elsewhere in Botswana.
