Master of Art Film Festival in Sofia

An Eastern European documentary festival built entirely around films about art, covering architecture, fashion, fine art, photography, music, theatre and more, rather than fiction cinema. Co-organized by Sofia's National Palace of Culture, the Master of Art Foundation and a production company, with backing from Sofia Municipality and the Bulgarian National Film Center, it unfolds across a winter competition in four cities, a spring online edition and a summer open-air run.

The National Palace of Culture in Sofia co-organizes an international festival built around one narrow premise: documentaries about art, and only documentaries about art.
