Kukerlandia Festival in Yambol
A late-winter mummer festival in Yambol, running since 2000, where dozens of kukeri groups parade through the town's streets and City Park in costumes distinct from those seen at Pernik's Surva festival. A signature feature is 'Kukergrad,' a temporary display of giant carved masks up to five meters tall, alongside craft stalls, children's programs and folk concerts through a long February or March weekend.
