TALUS Reo in Reo
A single-day student talent and debate event in Reo's cinema hall, now well established over multiple years under singer-promoter Martinien Bamouni. Local schools compete in artistic performance and structured debate on contemporary themes, continuing a public-speaking pipeline that has trained over two hundred young Burkinabe since its founding. Each year's edition centers on a fresh theme; past editions have centered on students' role in building a more resilient, peaceful country.
Martinien Bamouni, a singer known locally as Martinien Ossazuly, built TALUS from a single idea: give Reo's students and university-bound youth a stage for public speaking before they ever need one professionally.
