FESTICAB in Bujumbura

FESTICAB, the Festival International du Cinema et de l'Audiovisuel du Burundi, has run in Bujumbura since 2009 to promote Burundian filmmaking nationally and internationally. Now in its mid-teens of editions, it screens local, regional and international productions, names an honorary godmother each year from African film and culture, and is based in the Kigobe neighbourhood on Avenue Kirika.
