Angkor Photo Festival in Siem Reap
The Angkor Photo Festival is a free, public photography exhibition held annually in Siem Reap since 2005, showing work from photographers across Asia in galleries, cafes, and nightly outdoor slideshow screenings around the old town. Now the longest-running photography event in Southeast Asia, it exists alongside the companion Angkor Photo Workshops training program, giving Siem Reap an unusually strong reputation within the region's documentary and art photography community.
A free, open-access photography festival has filled galleries, cafes, and public walls around Siem Reap each year since 2005, when a group of photographers created the Angkor Photo Festival as a platform for photographers working across Asia at a time when the region had few dedicated venues for documentary and art photography.
