Angkor Photo Workshops in Siem Reap

Angkor Photo Workshops is a tuition-free, application-based training program in Siem Reap for emerging Asian photographers aged 21 and up, running since 2005 under the same organization that stages the public Angkor Photo Festival. About twenty participants are chosen each cycle from a written proposal and portfolio, then spend roughly ten days developing a photo story with six tutors, with accommodation covered but travel, visas and meals left to participants.

A small nonprofit based in Siem Reap has been training emerging Asian photographers since 2005, and its flagship program, the Angkor Photo Workshops, remains tuition-free for everyone selected to attend.
