Vancouver Mural Festival in Vancouver

Founded in 2016, Vancouver Mural Festival has produced several hundred outdoor murals across Mount Pleasant and East Vancouver, painted live during a summer festival window that also includes block parties and artist talks. Expect scaffolding, working painters, street closures for block parties and a free, walkable open-air gallery that stays up long after the festival ends. Self-guided maps help visitors build their own route.

Vancouver Mural Festival turns the warehouses and storefronts of Mount Pleasant into a rotating public gallery each summer, when muralists work on scaffolding above Main Street while pedestrians and cyclists watch the paintings take shape in real time.
