Windsor International Film Festival in Windsor
The Windsor International Film Festival, known locally as WIFF, has run each fall since 2005 across downtown Windsor cinemas including the Capitol Theatre's Chrysler Theatre. Over roughly ten days in late October and early November, it screens Canadian premieres, international festival titles, and documentaries alongside juried awards, galas, and industry-facing events tied to Windsor's position across the river from Detroit.
