Festival Franco-Centrafricain des Arts Sceniques in Bangui and Sibut
The first Franco-Centrafricain Festival of Performing Arts ran ten days from September 17, 2025, opening at Bangui's Missy Momo cultural space before extending to Sibut, 186 kilometers away, funded through the French Embassy's Equipe France cooperation fund and run by the Alliance Francaise de Bangui. More than sixty free events featured Central African names like Tropical Fiesta, Canonstar and Evodie alongside French and Swiss artists, making it one of the more logistically ambitious first-year cultural launches in the capital's recent calendar.
The Franco-Centrafricain Festival of Performing Arts opened its first edition on September 17, 2025, at Bangui's Missy Momo cultural space, the same day the Kota Nguia Ti Ndara festival also launched there, before the program expanded to Sibut, a town roughly 186 kilometers northeast of the capital.
