Komina International Sara-Kaba Festival in N'Djamena
Komina International Sara-Kaba Festival is the first-ever festival dedicated to the Sara-Kaba peoples of southern Chad, held April 8 to 12, 2026 at the Talino Manu cultural space in N Djamena. Organized under the theme of the immortality of Sara-Kaba culture, spanning tradition, modernity, and cultural mixing, it aims to preserve and promote the group's heritage in the national capital.
In April 2026, N Djamena's Talino Manu cultural space hosted the first edition of the Festival International des Sara-Kaba, known locally by its nickname Komina, running from April 8 to 12 under the theme Komina, or the immortality of Sara-Kaba culture: between tradition, modernity, and cultural mixing.
