Fiesta de Cuasimodo is a Chilean Catholic tradition held simultaneously in dozens of towns across central Chile on the Sunday after Easter, when mounted huasos and cyclists escort a priest delivering communion to homebound sick and elderly parishioners. Each town, including Colina, Renca and Melipilla among many others, holds its own procession with decorated horses and formal huaso dress. It blends colonial-era Catholic devotion with distinctly Chilean rural horsemanship.
