Santiago International Book Fair FILSA in Santiago
FILSA, the Santiago International Book Fair, is Chile's largest publishing event, running since 1981 under the Camara Chilena del Libro at Estacion Mapocho, the city's converted historic railway station. Held over roughly two weeks from late October into November, it combines publisher stands from across Latin America and Spain with author talks, panels and a rotating guest country of honor. It draws Santiago's biggest annual book-buying crowds.
