Cangzhou International Wushu Festival in Cangzhou
The Cangzhou wushu gathering pairs an international martial arts competition with a trade and cultural exchange program, staged in a city whose own schools and family lineages carry generations of wushu tradition. A recent edition drew 302 delegations from 32 countries and regions and roughly 4,800 athletes and coaches, a record turnout, competing at the Cangzhou Sports Arena alongside seminars, trade talks and product exhibitions tied to the region's martial arts manufacturing trade.
Cangzhou earned its official designation as a Hometown of Wushu long before this festival existed, and the event exists to prove the title deserved it.
