Hong Kong Chinese New Year Parade in Hong Kong
Hong Kong's Chinese New Year Night Parade runs from the Cultural Centre Piazza along Canton Road and Nathan Road to Salisbury Road each Lunar New Year's Day, passing the Avenue of Stars and Kowloon Park. More than thirty floats and troupes, including international guest performers, complete the roughly two-hour route between 8:30pm and 10:30pm.
Each Lunar New Year's Day, Hong Kong stages one of the territory's largest single-night public spectacles: the Chinese New Year Night Parade, which assembles in front of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza in Tsim Sha Tsui before moving along Canton Road and Haiphong Road, then back along Nathan Road to finish near the Sheraton Hotel on Salisbury Road.
