China Shanghai International Arts Festival in Shanghai

Opened at the Shanghai Grand Theatre on November 2, 1999, the China Shanghai International Arts Festival is the only national-level comprehensive international arts festival in China, jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Shanghai Municipal Government. Running each autumn across multiple citywide venues, it spans opera, dance, symphonic music, and theater, drawing international touring companies alongside major Chinese productions.
