Hani Long Street Banquet in Yuanyang/Honghe
In Yuanyang County, core zone of the Hani Rice Terraces World Heritage site, villages including Qingkou and Duoyishu host the Hani Long Street Banquet during the tenth-month Angmatu New Year festival: communal tables joined end to end, sometimes stretching kilometres, accompanied by toasting songs and the Lezuo Dance.
Tables placed end to end with no gap between them, stretching in one recorded case over four kilometres and seating more than ten thousand people at once, define the scale the Hani Long Street Banquet can reach in Yuanyang County, part of the Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan and the core zone of the Hani Rice Terraces UNESCO World Heritage site.
