Dividivi Festival in Riohacha

Founded in 1967 by then-mayor Ernestina Serrano and named for a desert tree symbolising friendship in Guajiro culture, Riohacha's festival now runs from 28 June to 1 July, timed to end on La Guajira department's own founding anniversary.
