Expo Liberia in Liberia

Running for more than seventy years, Expo Liberia is Guanacaste's principal livestock, cultural and commercial fair, structured around agriculture, education, culture and entertainment. It became internationally staged for the first time following a new alliance with Houston's livestock fair, now drawing more than 75,000 visitors in recent editions and featuring what organisers call Costa Rica's most significant bull-riding montadera, pitting Guanacaste's lowland bulls against Nicaraguan competitors.
