Festival de Culturas Indigenas Rey Curre

Rey Curre's Festival Cultural Indigena, running since 1992 and organized around a yearly theme such as language and territory, brings free public exhibitions on Boruca gastronomy, art, archaeology, medicinal plants and traditional architecture together with live music and Boruca-language dialogue, distinct from, though close in timing to, the community's separately documented Juego de los Diablitos masked dance.

Rey Curre's Festival Cultural Indigena is a documented annual event dating back to 1992, distinct from, though scheduled near, the community's Juego de los Diablitos masked dance, and built instead around a broad showcase of Boruca-people cultural life: exhibits on local gastronomy, indigenous art, archaeological heritage and medicinal-plant knowledge, alongside traditional architecture displays, live music and public dialogue conducted partly in the Boruca language.
