Festival des Arts Numeriques d'Abidjan in Abidjan
Abidjan's digital-arts event, the Rencontres Internationales des Arts Numeriques et Visuels d'Abidjan (RIANA), has run annually since 2017, showcasing video art, digital installation and new-media performance. The sixth edition in April 2022 explored the theme Entre deux mondes, between two worlds, and the event has continued into further editions in the years since. It gives younger digital artists a platform still uncommon in Abidjan's painting- and sculpture-focused gallery scene.
Abidjan's dedicated digital-arts event is the Rencontres Internationales des Arts Numeriques et Visuels d'Abidjan, widely known by its acronym RIANA, held annually since 2017 and built around bringing digital and new-media artists together with the city's wider contemporary art scene.
