Fantastic Zagreb Film Festival in Zagreb

Founded in 2015, Fantastic Zagreb Film Festival is the region's largest festival dedicated to genre cinema, screening science fiction, horror, fantasy and animation across sections including World Panorama and Asian Fusion, with outdoor screenings at the reopened Ljetna pozornica Tuskanac. Cult classics screen alongside new international premieres each edition.

Fantastic Zagreb Film Festival was founded in 2015 as a dedicated home for genre cinema in a country whose major film festivals had traditionally focused on art-house and dramatic work, filling a gap for science fiction, horror, fantasy, action and animation audiences who previously had few festival platforms in Croatia.
