The Festival of the European Short Story is one of Europe's first festivals dedicated to short fiction, running each spring in Zagreb and a rotating guest city, recently Zadar. One of Europe's first festivals dedicated specifically to the short story form, the Festival of the European Short Story has run for more than two decades, bringing internationally decorated writers to Zagreb and a rotating guest city each year, held each spring.
