Festival Internacional de Danza en Paisajes Urbanos Habana Vieja in Old Havana
Founded in 1996 by choreographer Isabel Bustos and her company Danza Teatro Retazos, in partnership with the Office of the Historian of Havana, this festival turns Old Havana's parks, plazas and colonial streets into stages for dance. Part of the international Cities that Dance circuit since 1999, it remains one of Latin America's most recognised urban landscape dance festivals.
Habana Vieja: Ciudad en Movimiento began in 1996 as the initiative of a single dance company, Danza Teatro Retazos, founded and directed by the Chilean-Ecuadorian choreographer Isabel Bustos, working in partnership with the Office of the Historian of Havana and the Havana Theatre Centre.
