An evening carnival parade for Curacao's teenagers, held some two weeks after the daytime Children's Parade along the same fixed Willemstad route, with a louder, more street-party atmosphere than the earlier youth event and a second farewell appearance later in the season. Costumes and choreography are built specifically by school and neighbourhood youth groups for this date.
Where the Children's Parade runs in early-afternoon daylight two weeks earlier, the Teen Carnival Parade is deliberately staged as an evening event, starting at six in the afternoon and running into the night along the same fixed Willemstad route used throughout Curacao's Carnival season, a scheduling choice organisers and repeat visitors describe as making it more music-driven, larger-crowd and generally louder than the daytime youth parade that precedes it in the FDKK's sequenced calendar.
