Siman di Kultura in Willemstad/national
Curacao's national Culture Week, organised by Kas di Kultura each late September into October, combining traditional music genres like tambu, seu and ka'i orgel with contemporary urban styles, alongside intergenerational workshops where elders teach younger participants culinary, artistic and historical traditions. A recent theme built specifically around musical heritage foregrounded tambu, seu, zumbi and ka'i orgel alongside contemporary urban genres.
Twenty years of continuous programming made a recent edition of Siman di Kultura a genuine anniversary rather than a routine annual observance, and Kas di Kultura, the organisation behind Curacao's national Culture Week, marked the milestone under a motto celebrating the week's role in Curacaoan life.
