Kornos Pottery Festival

Kornos's Red Clay Festival, running three days in mid-to-late October, celebrates the Larnaca district village's UNESCO-documented red clay pottery tradition. Mastorisses, skilled female potters, lead hands-on workshops using foot-powered wheels, while a culinary demonstration prepares Korniotikos Ttavas, a lamb or goat and rice dish cooked in the village's own clay pots, alongside live music and a closing concert.
