Larnaca Biennale in Larnaca
The Larnaca Biennale, launched in 2018 by the ARTION Cultural Association, is Cyprus's biggest international contemporary arts event by attendance, drawing more than sixty thousand visitors across a six-week programme of exhibitions, performances and installations spread through multiple venues in Larnaca's city centre. Each edition follows its own curatorial theme, alongside a wider supporting calendar of concerts, dance, theatre, lectures and workshops.
More than sixty thousand visitors and spectators attend the main exhibition and parallel events of the Larnaca Biennale, making it, by that documented attendance figure, the biggest and most popular international contemporary arts event held anywhere in Cyprus, a scale achieved since its first edition launched in 2018 under the organisation of the ARTION Cultural Association of Larnaca.
