Larnaca Festival in Larnaca
Larnaca Festival, now four decades into its run, runs a month-long municipal arts programme spanning music, poetry, theatre, dance and emerging-artist platforms, staged mainly at the Pattihio Municipal Amphitheatre and, in some editions, the Archaeological Site of Ancient Kition. Each year mixes touring international productions with Cypriot performers under Larnaca Municipality's organisation.
Four decades of consecutive programming make the Larnaca Festival one of the longest-running municipal arts festivals in Cyprus, an event the city's own municipality frames as following the rhythm of Larnaca itself, ascending steadily through decades of creativity, quality and cultural contribution rather than reinventing its identity each year.
