NATO Days in Ostrava in Ostrava/Mošnov
NATO Days in Ostrava began in 2001 at the central Cerna louka park before relocating in 2003 to what became Leos Janacek Airport, adding an aerial display component that transformed the event's scope. Renamed to formally include Czech Air Force Days in 2010, the free-entry show now draws more than one hundred thousand daily visitors, making it the largest air, military and security show in Central Europe and one of Europe's largest free-to-enter airshows.
NATO Days in Ostrava began in 2001 as a regional public presentation of the country's armed forces, police and rescue services, staged for its first two years at Cerna louka, a central Ostrava park, before the event moved in 2003 to what was then Ostrava-Mosnov International Airport, a relocation that added a full aerial display component and immediately broadened the show's appeal to a wider audience of aviation and military enthusiasts beyond the original regional security focus.
