Czech Design Week in Prague
Czech Design Week's concept dates to 2014, with its first edition in 2015 at the House at the Minute, followed by moves through the Prague Congress Centre, Styblu Palace and, more recently, the Manes Exhibition Hall, with accompanying shows at Clam-Gallas Palace. Unlike larger established-brand design festivals, it focuses specifically on students and emerging designers, positioning itself as a discovery platform within Prague's autumn design calendar.
Czech Design Week's concept dates to 2014, with its first physical edition following in 2015 at the House at the Minute, a historic Prague building whose facade carries Renaissance sgraffito decoration, a fitting setting for a festival built around showcasing new design against the backdrop of the city's older architectural heritage.
