Fete de la Musique Kinshasa in Institut Francais/CWB and city venues
Fete de la Musique, the global World Music Day founded in France in 1982, has a Kinshasa edition run through the Institut francais, the Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles and other city venues since around 2013. The 2026 program spans three days, 18 to 20 June, around the international 21 June date. Entry is generally free, and programming spans Congolese, jazz, hip-hop and other genres performed by local artists across multiple venues.
